Storyline:
Sarah Ashburn, an FBI agent, is extremely ambitious and has her eye on a promotion, but she doesn't get along with her co-workers. She is sent to Boston to uncover the identity of an elusive drug lord, Mr. Larkin, by tracking down his proxy, Rojas, and is told that she'll have a good shot at the promotion if she finds Larkin. When she arrives in Boston, she learns that Larkin has been eliminating his competition and taking over their operations. She learns that Rojas is in Boston PD custody and goes to see him to ask him what he knows about Larkin, but is warned that the cop who arrested Rojas, Shannon Mullins, is very territorial, and she is not exactly sociable. When the two meet they don't get along. When Mullins learns why Ashburn is in Boston, she decides to find Larkin herself. Ashburn is told by her boss to work with Mullins, but it won't be easy because Ashburn does things by the book while Mullins does things her way.

Our 89 year old mother loves Sandra Bullock --- or at least she used to until she saw this movie. What a disappointment that such a quality, wholesome actress like Sandra Bullock would stoop to associating herself with a movie that features such extreme, unnecessarily frequent, profanity.
Melissa McCarthy is a particular favorite of mine. It is again disappointing that someone with such promise felt it necessary to star in this raunchy, profane police-flick when she surely has received offers to star in truly funny movies that would present her comedic-flair with some measure of dignity.
Because of this horrid movie, both Sandra Bullock and Melissa McCarthy each have a BIG black mark against them in my book. Their future movie choices will surely dictate if I, and my mother, remain fans. I am sure that we are not alone.

I love Sandra Bullock but this was the worst movie yet of hers. If I wanted to hear the F bomb every few seconds I could go to my local high school. This show was boring and stupid. Very disappointing!

The movie would have been soooo much better had they curbed that foul language. Too much is too much and that was way tooooo much! They are friends that I would suggest go see it but I don't want to subject them to that excessive use of cursing! Had it not been for that I would have liked it and recommended it.

I was able to go to a pre-screening and I didn't know what to expect. I knew it would be funny because of who was in the movie, but I didn't realize just how funny it was going to be. I laughed so hard I was crying. Melissa McCarthy is absolutely hilarious in this movie. So much so that she steals scene after scene from Sandra Bullock. Don't get me wrong, Sandra Bullock is hilarious too. Melissa just dominated in this movie. I will warn you though that half of the dialogue consists of cuss words. It didn't bother me, but I know it can bother other people and some parents don't want to expose their kids to that kind of dialogue. Otherwise, this is a MUST see movie!

My expectation was to give my husband a dose of Sandra Bullock and enjoy the rest of the weekend. I was so pleasantly surprised that the show is funny from beginning to end. Mc Carthy is better than Bullock and it is worth seeing at the theatre for full price admission and I rarely think shows are worth matinee or Red Box rates. Enjoy life, laugh through this and experience some truly funny leading ladies!
